OUR REFLECTION

James Gerak lost his 32 year battle with cancer on Monday November 7, 2011. In 1966 he joined the Los Angeles Police department where he became a police officer until he retired in 1986. After retiring from LAPD in 1986, he and his wife of 38 years Diane Gerak, bought A-1 Equipment Rentals in Palmdale, CA where they both worked till they sold it in 2001.

Jim and Diane moved to Agua Dulce, CA in 1980 and bought a little ranch house on 7 acres so he could have all kinds of animals, most of all his beloved dogs. In 1991 he tore down the little ranch house and built a big beautiful home where he passed away on Monday November 7, 2011.

You will be sorely missed, and never forgotten by your friends and partners. They call it The Thin Blue Line. The line between order and chaos. You were a part of that line, as much a part as anyone ever was, and that is an epitaph good enough for anyone. May you be received in heaven with open arms. R.I.P Brother, our loss is the Lords gain.
